Hey folks,

I came across this fantastic video yesterday, in which a fellow who goes by the handle of TWANGnBang on YouTube, Twitter (@TWANGnBANG), Facebook, and likely elsewhere, tells a personal story of a defensive gun use (DGU).

Full disclosure, I’d never heard of TWANGnBANG before, but he seems to have a lot of fans. I was certainly impressed by this particular video and plan to look into more of his work.

In this video he talks about his DGU, about things that went right, things that went wrong, and places where he just got darned lucky (and the fact that luck matters, too).

Based on my experience dealing with many hundreds of DGUs (from the legal, not personally involved, perspective), the whole thing just struck me as very genuine and well worth the watch.
